We are pleased to announce that once again almost 70% of our journals
published in chemistry and related subjects show a year on year
increase in their Impact Factor*, demonstrating the outstanding
quality standards we apply to our products.
We are proud that many of the journals published by Wiley or Wiley-VCH
are in fact owned or co-owned by prestigious societies, including
GDCh, ChemPubSoc Europe, ACES, IuCR, AICHE, SCI and many others.
Of the top 20 journals in multidisciplinary chemistry, six are
published by Wiley/Wiley-VCH, three of them on behalf of our society
partners; no other publisher has achieved a better result.

The Impact Factor of Angewandte Chemie has risen from 12.73 to 13.455!
Among multidisciplinary chemistry journals, Angewandte Chemie is
clearly in the lead if one considers, in addition to the Impact
Factor, the number of articles published, the total cites, and the
unique mix of articles. Angewandte Chemie is a journal of the German
Chemical Society published by Wiley-VCH.
Acta Crystallographica Section D is now ranked No 1 in
Crystallography. Its impact factor has doubled from 6.326 to 12.619.
The journal is distributed on behalf of the International Union of
Crystallography.
Medicinal Research Reviews is still ranked No 1 with an increased
impact factor of 10.700.
Mass Spectrometry Reviews grew over 15% to 10.461 and reclaimed its
No. 1 position within Spectroscopy.
Advanced Synthesis & Catalysis's Impact Factor jumped to 6.048
(from 5.250) and remains the leading primary journal in organic,
organometallic, and applied chemistry.
Journal of Applied Crystallography increased its impact factor by 45%
to 5.152. The journal is distributed on behalf of the International
Union of Crystallography.
The Journal of Computational Chemistry is pleased to report the
increase of its impact factor from 4.050 to 4.583. It retains its
position as a top journal in theoretical chemistry. In conjunction
with a faster time to publication, the journal is poised to deliver
the very best in the coming year.
Molecular Informatics has got its first impact factor of 2.390 and
jumps right into the top ten of its category (Mathematics and
Computational Biology).
Environmental Toxicology - increased its impact factor to 2.407 and
ranks now in the top 10 of its category (Water Resources).
Environmental Progress & Sustainable Energy - increased its impact
factor by 92% up to 1.649. It is a journal of the American Institute
of Chemical Engineers (AICHE), published by Wiley.
The Israel Journal of Chemistry nearly doubled its impact factor to
1.535. It is the official journal of the Israel Chemical Society
published by Wiley-VCH for the last 2 years.

We are pleased to announce that once again almost 75% of our CPSE
journals published in chemistry and related subjects show an increase
in their Impact Factor. This is an excellent figure, and a further
indicator that ChemPubSoc Europe is dedicated to offering high-quality
content.
Other highlights:
* Of all our journals in the multidisciplinary category, 100% are
amongst the top 20 journals.
* 38% of our journals have an IF over 5.
* All the ChemPubSoc Europe journals that are eligible for Impact
Factors are now over 3.
* An article published in ChemPubSoc Europe journals and their sister
journals Angewandte Chemie and Chemistry - An Asian Journal has been
cited, on average, 7 times, (dividing the total cites by the total
number of articles used in the 2011 Impact Factor calculation, that
